We have overnight and priority services available to places as far away as Broome, Port Headland, Karratha, USA and the Philippines. Our on-hand expert has had many years experience in freediving the Gold Coast and has visited such places as Western Australia, Coral Sea, Vanuatu and New Zealand.

Allan: A keen fisherman from a young age, he progressed into spearfishing from his love of the ocean. Chasing Spanish Mackerel and Wahoo is his favourite past-time and he uses three railguns, a 1.1m Carbon Saracen and two Torelli's. He can be usually found on the offshore reefs on his days off, fishing with a couple of mates from the club. He is a member and ex-president of the local spearfishing club, Tweed Gold Coast Freedivers Club, and plays underwater hockey to maintain his breath-hold and fitness. He has represented Queensland in Underwater Hockey and has been a 7 times member of the winning team at the state championships.

Tracy: Tracy has been diving for the past 5 years and is an avid underwater photographer. She has extensive knowledge of all the main brands from Dive Computers to Masks and snorkels. She has dived in the Caribbean, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales. Places like Fish Rock Cave, HMAS Brisbane, Cook Island and Julian Rocks rank highly on her agenda.

TOWNSVILLE

Opened in 2005, Aqua Sports NQ extended our knowledge and experience into far north Queensland. With Sean's knowledge and customer service, Townsville locals soon took to the store and so we have been supplying quality gear at affordable prices ever since. Although not large, Aqua Sports NQ stocks Rob Allen, Omer, Picasso and Cressi-Sub, and can order in all other brands.

Sean: Sean, an avid local Townsville diver and member of the Townsville Skindiving Club, is familiar with the local needs and conditions. Been a Queenslander and having spent much of his time in the water from the Gold Coast to Brisbane, Bundy, Gladstone and Mackay, The Whitsunday's, The Burdekin, Townsville, Cardwell, and Cairns, he has gained an understanding of a diverse range of diving conditions and requirements. While the Reefs off Townsville have become his staple diet he still likes to dive other waters when he can and enjoys talking of his Big Sambo's from W.A. or Kingies and Mackerel in N.S.W. He loves to share his experiences and knowledge of his dives that cover 3 Australian States and two continents. Like all Spearo's he has blue salt water running through his veins.
