Purchased in 2011 from Aqua Sports and Dive, 10 Metres Below is the reincarnation of a well established business of 16 years. We are based in Townsville, North Queensland, but cater to the whole region, from Cairns to Mackay. We also deal with many West Australian towns, such as Broome, Geraldton and Port Hedland, as well as Northern Territory towns like Nhulunbuy. Unlike many businesses, we pride ourselves on having the knowledge and expertise in our specific fields.
Our mission is to offer our customers affordable equipment at realistic prices with reliable after-service and warranty. We have overnight and priority services available to places as far away as Broome, Port Headland, Karratha, Weipa, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia. Our on-hand expert has had many years experience in freediving the Gold Coast, the Capricorn Bunker Group, northern Queensland and has visited such places as Western Australia, the Coral Sea, Vanuatu, PNG and New Zealand.
 Allan Loumeau: A keen fisherman from a young age, he progressed into spearfishing from his love of the ocean. Chasing Spanish Mackerel and Wahoo is his favourite past-time and he uses three railguns, a 1.1m Rob Allen Carbon Saracen, 1.3m Rob Allen Zulu Carbon and a 1.4m Torelli Tigon Offshore.He can be usually found on the offshore reefs on his days off, fishing with a couple of mates from the club. He is an ex-president of the Gold Coast spearfishing club, Tweed Gold Coast Freedivers Club, and plays underwater hockey to maintain his breath-hold and fitness. He is also a member of the Townsville Skindiving Club.
He has represented Queensland in Underwater Hockey and has been a 7 times member of the winning team at the state championships.
